    Hi,

    are there the Qt libs precompiled for vs 2015 x64? I only get the whole package (with Creator,..) or compiled for x86?

      @QT-static-prgm

      Here are the download archives
      What is the version qt-opensource-windows-x86-msvc2015_64-5.8.0.exe ?

      Anyway what ever you install from vsxxxx precompiled versions should be also usable with the appropriate version of vs to my understanding.

        the exe comes with creator and a lot of stuff i don't needs, sind i already have it installed.

        and i need qt compiled for x64, because i'm working on a plugin for a x64 program. So it's necessary that it is x64

          Hi,

          If you used the online installer you can just add that version of Qt to your installation.

            @QT-static-prgm To add to @SGaist : the Qt Maintenance Tool provides Qt for VS2015 32bit and 64bit. Did you check?

              yeah, but the installers ALWAYS come with the creator. You cannot uncheck it. And i already have the creator installed. So i don't need it an other time.

                Once you installed Qt with the online installer, use the Maintenance Tool for version update/addition/removal.

                  I'll check if I have that tool already installed. For now I compiled qt from the source with vs2015 x64. But simply downloading the right version would be much faster for the future

                    That tool is installed anyway.

                    When you plan to update/modify Qt's installation then just use the online installer. That's the cleanest fastest way.
