Cross compile tool chain for Raspberry Pi 2 & BeagleBoard

I want to install cross compile toolchain for my ARM boards.
My host system is Ubuntu 14.04.
Since i have memory constraint on the ARM boards, i need to generate the ARM linux executable on the PC and then copy it to the boards.

If there are any links to how i can do that, would be really helpful.

You can find lots of information about that on the Raspberry Pi 2 and BeagleBoard community forums. This forum is dedicated to Qt. If you would like to build Qt for the Raspberry Pi (1 or 2 should not really matter) searching for "Raspberry Pi Qt" would have already brought several pages from the wiki.
