Hi,
I saw that Qt 5.2 will support Qt Positioning... great! The only thing I miss is a "transformation of coordinates" paket like "Geotrans":http://earth-info.nga.mil/GandG/geotrans/:
e.g.:
Lon/Lat to UTM or UTMREF...In my opinion Qt has the power to handle that "challenge"!!!

Sounds like a feature request to me :)
If you think it might be a good idea, you can always fill a feature request on the "bug report system":http://bugreports.qt-project.org
Or even better, if you already use Geotrans, you could try to give it a nice Qt interface and submit it to the Qt project
