Qt no suitable kit found
-
I installed the qt from online installer but the qt creator was not there so i downloaded the qt creator offline installer and installed it (version 15) when i start to make a new project it is saying there is no suitable kits. I think it didnt find the qt version when i try to link it, it is not working so i try to manually add it but there is no qmake.exe fiel in bin folder only insighttester and insightuploader.exe. The qt version is 6.8.2

So you did not install any Qt version, just Qt designer or something else.

Nope i download it using the qt-online installer. Can you provide me links if you think i did it wrong?

You just have to select Qt in the online installer, not Qt Design Studio
-
it says there is network error so i used this mirror https://qt.mirror.constant.com/online/qtsdkrepository/windows_x86/root/qt/Updates.xml ( --mirror https://qt.mirror.constant.com/online/qtsdkrepository/windows_x86/root/qt/Updates.xml )
i only get this options inside the installer there is no design studio in it. -
This looks like it is from 2014... use a recent mirror
-
Can you provide me the command? Should i use the full url it say use it before /online. Btw can u increase my reputation so that i can reply fast
-
Update : i have use this mirror (https://mirrors.sau.edu.cn/qt/online/qtsdkrepository/windows_x86/root/qt/Updates.xml) still i get the same options
-
Please check the installer documentation and as @Christian-Ehrlicher said: Select another mirror.
Yours is indeed from 2014. -

-
