    Hello everybody. I am running Fedora 34 with plasma-desktop-5.22.5. and LibreOffice 7.2.5.2. There does not appear import dialog in calc importing text data, running as ordinary user. The error messages are:
    QPainter::begin: Paint device returned engine == 0, type: 3
    QPainter::save: Painter not active
    QPainter::setPen: Painter not active
    QPainter::setBrush: Painter not active
    QPainter::drawRects: Painter not active
    QPainter::setRenderHint: Painter must be active to set rendering hints
    QPainter::setPen: Painter not active
    ...
    But running the LibreOffice Calc as root, there is no problem.

    Some idea what I'm doing wrong, please ?

    Thank you,
    Jiri

      @Jiri-Rohlicek Hi, I think you hit the wrong space on the internet. This is a forum for Qt developers, not LibreOffice.

      Having said that I think you've installed LO in the place or in the way that your regular user can't access. Did you install it as a root?
      Try installing again into your home folder perhaps (mind you, I am Debian user and don't know any specific quirks Fedora might have but with linux being linux...).

      For more information please re-read.

      Kind Regards,
      Artur

        @artwaw Hi, I installed as root, as the installation is RPM packages. You are right, I have put my question to LO bug forum first, but got no relevant answer.
        Thank you for your response.

          @Jiri-Rohlicek So it looks like the package manager put it somewhere where your user doesn't have to sufficient permissions. Sadly, I don't know how to fix it.

          For more information please re-read.

          Kind Regards,
