    Hi,

I created a Qt account to test if I can install the Qt 6.0.1 on my computer. After figuring out that this does not work I tried to find out how I can delete my Qt account. In the account settings this is not possible at all, so I asked your chat bot. The chat bot told me to go to the "Support Center" for deleting my account. When clicking on the "Support Center" button, then I am informed that only users of the commercial license have access to the support center.

So do you try to enforce that people buy a Qt license to get their account deleted? Are you serious about this or is this a bad joke?

You develop libraries to create graphical user interfaces, so I would expect that you can provide a button to remove an account on your website.

Please immediately remove all my Qt accounts (Forum: samfux84 and my general Qt account).

Someone ( @AndyS : is this for your attention here?) will answer this soon. But I think you are misunderstanding: this forum is user forum, run (voluntarily) by users for other users. We are nothing to do with commercial The Qt Company, which I am assuming you are talking about.

This is mistake on the UI side, it should have been possible to request the removal via this but it seems that this is not working. I will pass this on for you.

You develop libraries to create graphical user interfaces, so I would expect that you can provide a button to remove an account on your website.

We are in the process of making this an automatic process, but currently the removal of an account is done manually to make sure everything is cleaned up correctly in accordance to GDPR compliance.

Please immediately remove all my Qt accounts (Forum: samfux84 and my general Qt account).

If you can PM me your email address then I will pass this on internally to the people who remove the Qt Accounts and they will take care of it for you.

Edit: No need to PM me now, I see your email came through into the support system so this has been passed on for you.
