At 10:00 CET on the 22nd November, I will adjust the server settings which will hopefully solve the caching problems (I am promising nothing but testing seems to indicate that it should solve it). As a result there may (hopefully not but it is hard to say) be some more issues than normal when trying to connect and so on. If you happen to hit any of those then please PM me or another moderator (so they can inform me) and I will undo the change so we can try to work out what the best thing to do moving forward is.

If we are lucky then it won't have any negative impact and it will just solve the problem we have been fighting the last couple of months.

      Q: What's that?
      A: It's blue light.
      Q: What does it do?
      A: It turns blue.

@AndyS I wish you (and us) luck too! :)

Qt has to stay free or it will die.

This is not fair! Promising to buy someone a beer if it doesn't work and then extending the deadline to multiple tries until you get it right just so as to avoid buying. This is just like keep having a Brexit referendum till the voters deliver the correct verdict.

          ;)

Well in this case I did think the original approach might help, the beer still stands if we are in the same place at any point though, I will happily extend that too :)

As for Brexit, let's just not go there ;)

It's temporarily not in place, the problem is that when I put it to what worked in testing the whole thing decided to fail, I don't know why yet.
