If you would have posted the whole file, esp. showing the parts you've changed, it would have saved a lot of troubleshooting ;-)

It's also a debugging thing... If you made changes and suddenly nothing works anymore, revert the changes and try to figure out why it happened.

Please connect a slot to https://doc.qt.io/qt-5/qabstractsocket.html#errorOccurred before calling connectToHost and print https://doc.qt.io/qt-5/qiodevice.html#errorString there.

It seems like this was a packaging error on Arch Linux, if you are facing this issue, install assimp

Guten Morgen. Kannst Du mal Creator mit dem Parameter -tcs starten? Wenn es dann geht, liegt es an den Einstellungen.
