Is there a nice way to update from the old qt installation that still has qt tool version 3.1? It forces me to update to 4.11 first but it also downloads a bunch of unrelated packages at the same time and fails with

TypeError: Property 'isCommandLineInstance' of object QInstaller::PackageManagerCore(0x1a70f18) is not a function

Is there a way to force it to update to some other version first (or not install unrelated packages)? Or is the only solution to nuke existing install, potentially missing all of the settings?

@flashmozzg Hi, unfortunately you need to do a fresh install. We'll look into improving this particular case.
