I can't manage to fetch pre-built binaries for our builds, is it down for everyone?

The online installer doesn't work either, it gets stuck under "Retrieving information from remote repositories".

The last few days I've been getting warnings that the Qt app I'm building via CICD which downloads from this site is infected with malware. I wonder if their site has been compromised and someone's trojanising the code.

All my GitHub Actions builds are failing because of download.qt.io.
Almost three days of malfunctioning and not a single word from the Qt company.

Our site https://download.qt.io hasn't been down since @petru started this thread.
I just checked the binary packages for Qt Creator 16.0.1, Qt 6.8.2, the snapshot for Qt 6.9.0. All of them match the right SHA1s.
That tells me our site wasn't compromised and doesn't contain compromised binaries.

Please specify what is failing and figure out to which mirror you are re-directed.

Sometimes it's unreachable, sometimes it is very slow, so trying to download packages cause a timeout therefore failure.
Right now for example it is working as expected.
This is the action I am using: https://github.com/jurplel/install-qt-action
Also, this morning the official Qt Maintenance Tool was not able to download anything either.
Mirrors don't solve the issue.

That tells me, you have tried multiple mirrors and you still encounter download problems.
Looks like a local network / firewall / internet problem. Our download site has been up all the time, since this thread was started.

@Axel-Spoerl The site is down right now (and for the last few days) for me here in NH. As someone else stated, it's up for a minute, then gone again, but mostly gone.

My co-workers in Boston are seeing the same thing. The site is up and down. I'm not sure if there is a networking issue somewhere. The site was down for me at 5AM EST, and is back up now, but it's been going up and down. Our github runners have been failing off and on for the past few days (new problem).

Oh, forgive my ignorance :-)
It seems like something along the way from Scandinavia to the US then.
That would explain the intermittent behavior.
The connection is pretty consistent and fast here in Norway.
To which IP address does download.qt.io resolve at your end?

Ping gets me 77.86.162.2. Right now I can ping, but the site won't load.

Same issue for me here for the past 2 days. I am in Spain.

That is what I get, however accessing the url in browser or wget does not work. I noticed this because my github CI workflows were failing, I guess its servers are in the US, although I couldn't say for sure.

That seems to be depending on the location.

It's odd that ping works but the site does not. That would seem to imply something flaky on the server, or selective port blocking?

Just to add to the story that here in the Netherlands it's the same, ping is fine, website is down.
Our azure pipelines experience the same issue.
