@Gopika What did you try? Did you download the installer? Did you call it with --mirror parameter? What is your OS?

Well, from the folder where the installer file is located:
NAME_OF_THE_INSTALLER_FILE --mirror http://www.nic.funet.fi/pub/mirrors/download.qt-project.orghttps://wiki.qt.io/Online_Installer_4.x#Selecting_a_mirror_for_opensource

Im trying to download qt using qt online installer by mirror link but its giving me erorr "cannot retrieve remote tree" what can i do??
Ive also tried another mirror links but same result

Since we are a user forum and not The Qt Company we do not control their downloads. Try a variety of the available download mirrors, and then try some more. -

@Madhusmita_123 did you update to the latest version of the installer ? There was a bug that has been fixed recently.

qt-unified-windows-x64-4.6.0-online.exe --mirror https://mirrors.aliyun.com/qt
above command in command prompt it will work try this
I have done in windows laptop -
