Hi, This is something you should ask to the Qt Company directly.

@JonB said in Frequent unresponsiveness of this site: heroku Oh well, I remember that one! About two or three weeks ago I had trouble opening the webpage at all on two different days. It just wouldn't load. I used different websites to check if it was just down for me and the majority of those pages claimed that the Qt forum was up an running. Pinging forum.qt.io would would send a response from heroku. Didn't have any problems recently (no slow downs, no unresponsive/unreachable webpage).

The Design Viewer is back online! You might notice that the application is running faster now. We've moved user data to Qt AWS EU and migrated our cloud services to Heroku PaaS, enhancing performance. If you encounter any issues, please let us know! Our upcoming plan includes updating the look and feel of our web application and adding more interactive tools. Stay tuned!

Hm, that's an idea. Maybe rename it to "Qt Next", "Future Qt", something like that?

@Nhan-Nguyen Totally understandable, and it's the exact opposite of urgent. I just wanted to get it on the radar. Thanks!

@JonB said in Showing literal backticks in posts here: Ohhhh! And where did you find that documented?! Nowhere, was a mix of trial and error and somewhere on StackOverflow, which uses the same markup style, was mentioned that you can "stack" these sections. Because three backticks are no longer limiting the code block, you can display them. I think you can extend that infinitely. Eight, nine, ten or more "layers", while n - 1 times the character which sets up your section is not affected and is displayed properly. Edit: From clicking the "Help" button, I found out that you can also display three backticks using a 4 - space - indentation (in this case it's always four spaces to define the code block). Hello ``` World written like: ____ Hello ____ ``` ____ World Btw: Just look at this ;-) (Markup is fun :D) Hello World

@sierdzio Indeed, that must have been a funny coincidence, since there was an intense discussion going on just before that cutoff.

@SGaist We currently don't have exact schedule yet. However, I've heard that new features from the latest forum version are needed so the upgrade is inevitable. I will keep you posted!

@SGaist The database upgrade is performed on schedule because the old version becomes obsolete and will not receive any security update in the future

@Dummie1138 read very carefully the first 3 posts of this thread. See if you can figure it out from them.
