Hi @bhargav, Pearson VUE handle all of the Qt certifications as I understand it (at least for my region). Got to this page: http://www.pearsonvue.com/qtcompany/ Click the "Find a test center" link Enter "India", or something more specific, and click "Search" (deep links to search results are tied to the browser session unfortunately). That's Qt's source, not the software. From https://www.gnu.org/licenses/why-not-lgpl.en.html The GNU Project has two principal licenses to use for libraries. One is the GNU Lesser GPL; the other is the ordinary GNU GPL. The choice of license makes a big difference: using the Lesser GPL permits use of the library in proprietary programs; using the ordinary GPL for a library makes it available only for free programs.

@gfxx see Qt Safe Renderer: With Qt and the Qt Safe Renderer it is possible to create many different kinds of certified systems. While our initial focus is on automotive digital cockpits this solution is also applicable to medical and industrial automation systems. ISO 26262, IEC 61508 or IEC 62304 are some of the applicable standards that we are working to certify the new Qt Safe Renderer for. Qt Safe Renderer works with Qt 5.9 and Creator 4.3, or later versions. For the target RTOS we are supporting INTEGRITY and QNX. On the silicon side we are supporting the NXP iMX6 and NVIDIA Tegra X1 with plans to to add support for Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 and Renesas H3. We can support alternative RTOS and processors on an as needed basis. The Qt Safe Renderer and related tooling will become available as an add-on to the commercially licensed Qt.

@Tino Thanks a lot for your reply, then I understand why there are more exams in the Person VUE website. I passed the 010-002 in 2009 and am thinking about getting the next Qt certificate. According to your reply , I think there are two paths to follow during this transition period. First one is joining the 022-001, to the get the pure C++ specialist . second one is joining the 010-003 and 021-002 to get the Qt C++ specialist. Is the curriculum of 022-001(http://wiki.qt.io/Curriculum-of-Qt-advanced-certification) still valid? If I made any misunderstanding, could you kindly please point out? Thanks. I think lots of Qt certificate holders have the same questions as me. Can we add some explanations about this old/new certificate system and this transition period in our developer website or wiki? that will be very helpful. Br, Hai

@raven-worx I mean to say, old exam 021-001 give Qt- Widget and UI Specialist, and new 021-001 give Certified Qt C++ Specialist, if I have one old exam and given new I will get c++ or for that, i need to Give new Essential available.

Unless something changed, the new one should list all achieved module.

Hi @Zee_07 If I understand your post correctly then you are asking if you can become a Qt specialist if you succeed in 2 Qt developer tests instead of taking the Qt specialist exam? AFAIK you have to take the Qt specialist to become a Qt specialist. A lot of Qt specialists have taken only one Qt developer exam and then went for the Qt Specialist title. I don't have statistics on this though ;-) Eddy

Hi, Qt Certification is handled by PearsonVue. You can search there for Vienna, a quick look showed 5 possibilities. Like other certificates, they prove that you have reached a certain degree of knowledge in the understanding and the use of the framework which increase your value when looking for a job requiring Qt as part of your CV.

Hi @Galilio Certification exams are handled by PearsonVUE, as explained on the certification page https://www.qt.io/qt-certification/ Looks like there are locations in or near Lucerne, Bern and Zug in Switzerland. The certification page also has the different curricula for the tests.
