Pressing Enter on Msgbox closes parent dialog as well

I have a msgbox with just "close" button. When I press "enter" both the msgbox and the parent dialog are closed.
How can I prevent the parent dialog from closing?

@nnzz With that information others can only guess what the reason could be.
Please show how you create and show the dialog.
