QOpenGLWidget- how to get alpha?

Hey

I'd like to get an image from QOpenGLWIdget and use it in QGraphicsView as pixmap - or anything else with alpha and overlay it over other GraphicsItems. Would any1 be able to direct me in to how may I accomplish it? I spend some time on trying to find how to get alpha out of openGL but I'm failing badly at it... and I wonder if maybe QT offers a straight way of doing it already? maybe?
