Expert Qt/C++ developer in Houston/Texas area, permanent position, ASAP, by February

Bluware employs nearly 100 consultants working with some of the largest oil and gas operations and well-recognized services companies. Bluware owns and develops a high-end geoscience application and platform called Headwave, which uses Qt for visualization and cross-platform functionality.
We are in immediate need of a Qt & C++ expert for our team, to work with one of our clients to further develop the platform and their own custom functionality. The position will involve both a significant amount of custom Qt work, as well as advanced algorithms, workflows, and managing the full SDLC for the client. While our product is cross-platform, our client's work environment is purely Linux, so the application needs to be very familiar with debugging and profiling using Linux tools.
As the job requires significant collaboration with product owners at the client's company, we do require applicants to reside in Houston, Texas, and be available to work on-site.
The timeline to fill the position is quite short, so please expect to be available on short notice for both interviews and engagement, and expect to send us material which shows your expert qualifications. Open Source project engagement, publicly available code and proven team leadership would be considered a bonus.
