Hi there, i followed this little tutorial ( http://doc.qt.io/qt-5/qtwidgets-itemviews-simpletreemodel-example.html ) on how to create a custom Tree Model for my TreeView. In this example the Tree ist filled with data which is stored in a TXT-File and seperated by TABS and BLANKS. When i run this example all works fine, but for my special model i don't import data from a TXT-File and my data is not seperated by the TABS. I have a QList with QSslCertificate. My goal is to create a Tree on which each certificate of my list will be inserted on the right place in the tree. That means if the actual certificate of the list which has to be inserted now was signed by another certificate which is already in the tree and if the actual certificate has signed one ore more certificates in the existing tree the certificate (node) should be inserted on the right place in the tree. So the parents have to be changed. For Example i want to insert Certificate A which is the frist one. This i add to my tree simply. Not the second Certificate B from my List. This Certificate has signed the existing Certificate A in the Tree. So the parent node of this new node must be the the root node and the actual parent node (which is Certificate A) have to become the new child node of the new node. And the other case is when a Certificate i want to insert has signed some other certificates. There the existing nodes must become the new childs of this node. Both cases have to be checked when i insert a Certificate in the Tree. I know how i can check if a Certficate has or was signed, but not how i can build the tree in this way. I have not done so much in this area. But how can i do this? In the example link from above is is very easy, because there the hierachie is given in the TXT-File, but here in my case it is a little bit complicated. Would be cool if someone can help me here maybe with some (Pseudo)-Code or ideas how i can solve this. Thanks a lot!
