    Hello,
I am a student working on a project that I would like to sell to a company. I started a month ago working with qt and my free trial Is almost done.I am using qt creator 5.2.1 and all I need to finish the program is one more month but I cannot afford the 395$ it is too much.Is there a way to extend the free trial ? I will but the licence one I am done with the program in order to sell it. But for now I need to stick with something free.

    thank you

      Hi and welcome to devnet,

From your description it looks like you match the requirements for the start-up plan which is cheaper.

Depending on how you want to deliver your software, the LGPL license might be an option.

@SGaist I wanted to use it but some people on this forum said it may get you into legal trouble if you don't understand well the conditions.Anyhow if I use LGPL can I still use qt creator or another qt program to finish coding for free or do I still have to pay 100$ to use qt for one more month?

            thank you

Again, it partly dependent on how you intend to distribute your application.

The LGPL version doesn't restrict what you can use to build your application.
