    Hi everybody !
I can not find the solution for horizontal scrolling with the touchpad in the text editor.
Do you have an idea to solve this problem?
For your information, horizontal scrolling working with other editors.

Also, how to use the right click or middle click to scroll or move the text editor ?
    Thank you in advance.

      Hi and welcome to devnet,

The two fingers horizontal gesture does what you want.

Thank you for the welcoming ;-) !
Yes, I speak about the function of the touchpad: two-finger horizontal gesture.
This does not work for me on QtCreator but other editors that's ok.

And, also, I have not found the solution to move or scroll the text with the mouse. I look for the same action as clicking on the middle button with a web browser, for example, is it possible?

For the moment it is very disruptive to use the horizontal scrollbar for coding -_-. I looked around QtCreator without finding anything, and even on the web, so I am here :-)
        Thank you :-)

Strange, what version of Qt Creator do you have ?

            QtCreator 4.0.0
            Based on Qt 5.6.0 (MSVC 2013, 32bits)
            Built on May 10 2016
            From revision 605ea627cc

Sorry I thought you were on OS X, I don't have a Windows system plus trackpad at hand to reproduce that.

You should take a look at the bug report system to see if it's something known.

Ok, thank you for your help.
Maybe I post this bug on the bug report.
And, also, is it possible to use the click on middle mouse button, to scroll horizontally ?

The click of the scroll button ? Or do you have a three button mouse ?

AFAIK, that's rather a setting of your OS to modify the usage of the third/scroll button.

Hmm, I mean a solution to scroll the text editor without the scroll bar.
                    But I found nothing.
