btscanner and btchat in Android

Hi

I am trying to use the samples btscanner and btchat in two android devices (Nexus 7 with Android 6.01).
Booth devices are paired, but when I search with btchat or btscanner for bluetooth devices, they detect devices but they can't see each other.
The android manifest has the correct permissions.

anybody had the same problems? Am I missing something?
