what can do in workerscript?

in workerscript, Qt.createComponent is null,
means it can't call any extend native method.
so that means we can only do pure js work in workerscript?
if a work is heavy our first choice is do it in c++,
but now the workerscript design is far away from this..
i don't know is there any actual usage of it?
