    Hi all,

Is there a proper way to copy files to a Network Share (samba) when username/password is required?

    Thanks in advance
    R

      Hi,

      AFAIK, not directly.

You might be interested by KIO for that task.

        Hi @SGaist,

As it should be multi platform, it seems to get ugly then.
        KIO on Linux is nice.
On Windows I am not sure if a C/C++ way is as easy as on Linux.

On Windows I solved the problem with a python script. That was for me the most efficient way to get access to a samba share.

          Thanks anyway @SGaist
