Weather info example QT programm not working

i am new to QT and I am running few example programm in QT. I use QT5.5 example for weather info, when i open this and run it i get a window saying loading weather data.. and stays there only. I am using Ubuntu14.04 OS desktop to run QT. Please help me to get the desired output for the above example.
I see in application output window something like this.
QML debugging is enabled. Only use this in a safe environment.
