Loading many images locally, Photo Album Viewer

Hello Everyone, I tried to extend qt example Photo Album View to make it load images from local directories using FolderListModel, but it's too slow, do you have any ideas ?
Moreover, I have a problem when I load new folder using File Dialog all loaded folders point to the same directory,
