Urgent: Looking for C++ / Qt Software Development Engineer in Paris (Permanent contract in the field of genetic analysis)

To support the industrialization of its innovative digital PCR platform for high resolution genetic analysis, the startup Stilla Technologies is looking for a C++ / Qt Software Development Engineer, able to cover the following needs:
- Development graphical user interfaces dedicated to the innovative technology, particularly for an image acquisition software and for a statistical analysis software
- Development of instrument control modules, in particular for a fluorescence scanner
- Development of data processing modules, in particular for data which have been extracted from specific images
- Validation, maintenance and continuous improvement of the software components of the products
Reporting to the R&D Software Manager, the Software Development Engineer will be working on the development, the validation and the maintenance of software components that are related to graphical interface, instrument control, or data processing .
This work will be done in close collaboration with: the project manager; the developer who designed the existing software architecture and is in charge of the development of complementary software components; the designer of the graphical interfaces; the customers needed for software support.
The candidate should have an engineering degree in computer science, or equivalent, and have significant experience in C++ development (C ++ 11 and C ++ 14 appreciated), as well as sufficient experience in C # / .NET development. Mastering the Qt library is required. Additional mastering of Qwt, OpenGL, Boost, Python, SQL will be considered an asset. Knowledge of Git, Redmine and Squish, or equivalent tools, will be appreciated. A sufficient level of English is required, especially technical written English. Finally, the candidate should have at least one experience in customer support.
