I'm installing QT 5.5 for Windows 7 32 bit (MNGW version) from the offline installer

Part way through the install my AVG antivirus pinged up a warning about an XML bomb in one of the files

the file is internal-entity-polynomial-attribute.xml and is in the \QT\QT5.5.0\5.5\Src\qtbase\tests\auto\sax\qxmlsimplereader\xmldocs folder

Is this normal or is the installation i down loaded infected.

    Any advice accepted

      Hi, welcome to devnet.

      The installation is ok.
If you look closely it happens in a file that is a test for an xml bomb, so yeah, it's intended.
