    Greetings.

I subscribe to the forum a while and since the beginning always enable the option "Notify me via email When someone posts in this thread" for all my questions. I find it a very useful option and had never had problems with this.

However, yesterday I received a notification in my email about an answer to one of my recent questions. The message received (sender no-reply@qt-project.org) is very strange and I thought I should report it to someone on the forum.

I have not published the text of the message here, because perhaps it may seem offensive or reckless. If needed I can post the message content

Could someone tell me that I can do in this case.

Thanks in advance for any help and/or suggestions.

      Hi,

You can send a message to one of the forum moderators or Tero directly with a link to the offending user profile and a copy of the message you recieved.

        Hi,

In addition to what SGaist said, there is a "report" link to the right of every post in the forum (underneath your avatar). You can use that to bring attention to an offensive post.

I'm guessing you've had the misfortune of encountering a spammer. Moderators quickly delete spam posts when they are encountered.
