Hullo,
I would like to subscribe to some wiki pages as a translator, so that the translated content remains up-to-date (if a large chunk of info is added in the original, it would be great to have the translated content get it too). It should be just like what the forum offers for topics (a Notify me via email when someone edits this page option).
You have the Article history function for that purpose (just seek for the first change since the last edit of yours of the translated content).
But why not let the computer do the work instead of manually searching for the changes. In the email diff you can check if the change is important for you or just, say, corrects some whitespace or spelling error. I would definitely prefer the more verbose email.

The server is already doing a bit of it: http://developer.qt.nokia.com/wiki/diff/Wiki_Home_French. You see that I just changed something in the last paragraph. That's the most important; however, a full diff by email would be definitely better.
Also, you made me think of something else: it could be useful to have a Minor edit button when editing, to say that we're not changing the whole article, just correcting a typo or so (just like Wikipedia, for example). And the subscribers would have the choice of being notified of such minor edits or no.
