QT Multimedia - can remote networked cameras be controlled using QT Multimedia PAIs

Please consider below scenario -
A number of cameras are connected to a network.
I want to select one of it and capture a picture.
Then I want to stop that camera and start another one on the network.
Is it possible using QT Multimedia API ?

How to address a camera connected in the network ?
