    Hi All,

    Lead Qt Developer
    Broadcast & Media
    £300-£400 per day (negotiable)
    London

My broadcast and digital media client is looking for an exceptional Qt Developer to join their interactive TV project, developing UIs for TV and connected devices. Based in London, this is a great opportunity to take a lead role in an organisation that works with some of the biggest names in digital media.

As the project is currently at proof of concept stage, this role is suited to an ambitious Qt Developer who is confident working unsupervised, and not unnerved by a lack of hardware, requirements or detailed UI design. As the first Developer in the team you will have the chance to really shape the design and direction of the project.

You must have experience of writing slick UIs or games in Qt (using the APIs directly, not QML). If you understand how Qt uses DirectFB and OpenGL underneath, then this is a distinct advantage.

The initial duration of this role is 1 month as they are still at proof of concept stage. My client is confident this will go through to implementation which will provide another 6-9 months' work.

The daily rate for this role is £300-£400, although I do have some flexibility.

I'm looking for someone who can start as soon as possible - the hiring process is 2 telephone interviews: an initial introductory call to give you more detail about the project, followed by an interview with the technical team.
