    Hello,
Will "these training videos":http://qt.nokia.com/learning/online/training/ be good enough to get me the education i need for certification?
I cannot afford to take off work and travel to any of the training locations :(

      See "this page":http://qt.nokia.com/learning/certification/exams/preparation-prerequisites#prep-essentials
      And also "this one":http://qt.nokia.com/learning/certification/exams/preparation-prerequisites/qt-curriculum/qt-essentials/materials
Also first edition of C++ GUI Programming with Qt 4 is available for free download "here":http://www.qtrac.eu/marksummerfield.html

Do you have any Qt experience? I find that to be much more relevant than formal training.

          The short answer is NO

Neither will watching the videos get you certified, nor are those videos detailed enough to walk you through certification. Those videos are mainly orientational, not educational. Even if you learn those videos by hearth, they contain too little of the many details, which are required to know in order to be able to pass certification.

The books which Zlatomir suggested will be much more helpful, but even then, I don't think it will suffice simply reading them, you have to practice and be conformable and fluent with using their content, or have experience as Andre noted.

I agree with Andre and utcenter. If you only know enough to narrowly pass a certification test then it doesn't really prove you know anything but how to pass a test. The entire point of certification is to certify that you have an certain level of knowledge in a given topic. If you learn Qt, and practice developing with it, then you will easily pass the exam. If you can't pass the exam, then you haven't the knowledge you need to be certified.

So, in short: use the videos, use the books, use the forums, use the documentation... and code, code, code.
