I want to pass Qt Essentials, so it's simple to understand that I want to prepare for it. Are there any online resources to prepare (online tests, comments, articles)?

There are no online tests and so on, because the exam questions are under DNA (aka: secret).

Two advices (these are not secret):
1., Read carefully the emphasized chapters.
2., Try to UNDERSTAND the source codes in the books!

The "essential" exam is relatively not difficult (but the other two "specialist" exams are much harder).
