    Dear Qt Lovers & Enthusiasts!

It's that time of year again; another Qt World Summit is approaching! We are looking for live (only live!) speakers, collaborators, and industry thought leaders to share their expertise and insights at the upcoming Qt World Summit 2026 on October 27-28, in Berlin, Germany.

We are seeking a variety of topics that you believe are important to the community. This could include the latest projects you’ve been working on, insights related to safety and security, best practices for improving productivity and collaboration, or sharing experiences, and innovative ways of using Qt Group's tools and products — no matter the case, the Qt Community wants to hear from you!

Submit your proposal for an in-person talk here.

    Important dates:

    • Submit your topic suggestion(s) by March 31st, 2026.
    • The authors of accepted topics will be informed by the beginning of May 2026.
    • Full presentations/slide decks to be submitted by October 5th, 2026.

Session length - there are two different session lengths this year:

    • 30 minutes including Q&A (all live in Berlin)
    • 45 minutes including Q&A (all live in Berlin)

    Program committee and selection criteria

The committee will review all submissions and jointly select presentations based on the submitted abstract.
Here are some tips for writing a good abstract:

    • Show clear intent and purpose for your talk
    • Make clear what the value of the talk is for the intended audience
    • Offer something unique and unexpected, yet relevant

The committee will make its decision based on the themes of the event. The committee will also make sure to cover a wide range of interesting topics.

    Know your audience

Annually, the Qt World Summit attracts attendees from over 40 countries and across 20 industries. Typically, some 65% are developers, quality or testing engineers, and 35% are executives, managers, and team leads.

    What's in it for you

Being a speaker is a fantastic opportunity to spread your message amongst a community of software developers, engineers, and industry leaders, . If you don’t believe us, take a look at our QtWS25 recap video.

Submit your talk today! We hope to see you in Station Berlin!

If you have any questions, please contact qtws@qt.io

    Cheers
    Axel

      Hi,

Is there a main topic that will guide the summit ? (e.g. embedded, automotive, gaming, etc.)

      Interested in AI ? www.idiap.ch

        Good morning!
Good question. There is no official focus topic at present. As usual talks can center around anything interesting and related.
My personal guess is that AI and QtBridges will be central, but there will be a variety of other interesting talks.
I hope that his fairly general answer is still helpful...
