What reference implementations are available for boot time optimisation?
Ideally for NXP i.MX 8X (but any i.MX 8 or i.MX 6 or similar would be a start).

On one extreme, 24 seconds for b2qt reference implementation, i.MX 8X:

    On the other, 1.2 seconds, i.MX 6:

The Qt boot-time blog has many good ideas.
But would be great to have more details of how to strip down the kernel etc.
Where can we find more details, and ideally a reference implementation please?
e.g. a reference linux kernel defconfig?

    Thank you
    Peter
