Qt Creator 18.0.1 lags for 1-3 sec

I had just installed qt creator 18.0.1. When i tried to use it there was some unexpected moments when the app just freezes for a few seconds even though i was doing nothing. When it did that, i could not see the words i typed. I havent done anything after the installation other than setting up the android virtual device. This is the screenshot of my app when i tried to hold down the letter A and the app just freeze like this

Is there anything i should do first? Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.

I think you are experiencing QTCREATORBUG-33170.

Please start Qt Creator from the command line with QTC_UI_WATCHDOG=1
While the freeze occurs, you'll probably see something like this:

QTC_UI_WATCHDOG env var is set. The freezes of main thread, above 300 ms, will be reported.
UI is blocked ! 379
UI is blocked ! 474
UI is blocked ! 569

For me, it happens when larger projects are loaded. But it's not harmful by any means.

This looks like QTCREATORBUG-27311: QtCreator 7: lag every 10 seconds.

Qt Creator has an issue with Android on Windows when is doing some adb startup on the UI thread.

Please do update the bug report with the specific details that your development machine has.
