QTCreator18.0.1 unidentifiable Chinese code in ubuntu18.04
-
Hi,My virtual pc is ubuntu 18.04,and QTCreator version is 18.0.1.
In IDE, my Chinese notes all turned into small squares(garbled characters),But when I copy these Chinese characters to other apps, the Chinese characters can be displayed normally。
And it was normal to use a lower version(4.14) before.
How can normal Chinese be displayed? Thanks。 -

If you go to https://doc.qt.io/qtcreator/creator-desktop-platforms.html#linux and check supported Linux versions you will see that oldest supported Ubuntu version is 22.04. -

Because we have been developing in this version all along, but the QT online tool only provides version 18.0.1。Which version can I switch to? And can it be used normally by directly downloading a lower version? -

You can use QtCreator provided by Ubuntu or download older QtCreator from https://download.qt.io/archive/qtcreator/
