error when compiling f3-qt
-
I am a new user of QT Creator. I just installed it. I was unsure where to post this question, so I hope I haven't put it in the wrong place.
I am trying to compile a program called f3-qt. When I do, I get this error:
No valid settings file could be found.
All settings files found in directory "/home/username-f16/Downloads/f3 utilities gui f3-qt-2.1.0/f3-qt.pro.user" were unsuitable for the current version of Qt Creator, for instance because they were written by an incompatible version of Qt Creator, or because a different settings path was used.I hope it's just a settings path, but I don't know what I'm doing.
I am running:
QT Creator 13.0.0 on Linux Mint:
Kernel: 6.8.0-87-generic arch: x86_64 bits: 64 compiler: gcc v: 13.3.0 clocksource: tsc
Desktop: Cinnamon v: 6.4.8 tk: GTK v: 3.24.41 wm: Muffin v: 6.4.1 vt: 7 dm: LightDM v: 1.30.0
Distro: Linux Mint 22.2 Zara base: Ubuntu 24.04 nobleCan someone advise?

The .pro.user file has nothing to do in a source distribution and must not be shipped - it's specific to a local installation. Remove it and open the project again.
