    Hi,
We have a configure script, which has been used long time for building static Qt on MacOS.
Until recently we discovered, that the same script produces totally different library structure on Qt 6.8.2

Those a static libraries built for Qt 6.7.3

And those ones are for 6.8.2

Now, static libraries reside inside the frameworks.
Why this has been changed and what are the benefits of putting static libraries inside the frameworks ?

    Thank you for the help

      Hi,

You should rather bring this question to the development mailing list. You'll find there Qt developers/maintainers. This forum is more user oriented.
