I just accepted an upgrade to qt creator and now it's searching in output directories from clang-tidy.

I got a popup that a new version of QTCreator was available and I accepted the upgrade.
After restarting, I tried searching for a keyword in my (cpp) code base and gibberish from
.qtc_clangd idx files is appearing in the search.

I do note that this is in build directories which my predecessor chose to put into the source repo, and I'm willing to delete them,
but this didn't happen before the update.

Is there a way to make this stop without deleting the build directories?
