New install of qt5 not sure its working and no examples

pi install not sure it is working but the Examples in the Creator are not there I have tried reinstalling but still the same

I have installed and showing in the program list qt5 assistant,dt5 developer,qt5 linguist, qt creator. i followed some instructions found on utube. i did try a simple hello world text in c and it says qcore not installed

Well, that's your main issue: you just installed the tools but none of the Qt development packages.
