    Hello everyone! :D
I'm trying to run this QtQuick3D custom geometry example : https://doc.qt.io/qtforpython/examples/example_quick3d__customgeometry.html

but neither the point size nor the line width work. I've read in docs (https://doc.qt.io/qt-6/qml-qtquick3d-defaultmaterial.html):
"Warning: Line widths other than 1 may not be suported at run time, depending on the underlying graphics API. When that is the case, the request to change the width is ignored. For example, none of the following can be expected to support wide lines: Direct3D, Metal, OpenGL with core profile contexts."

    and:

"Warning: Point sizes other than 1 may not be supported at run time, depending on the underyling graphics API. For example, setting a size other than 1 has no effect with Direct 3D."

I conclude that I'm using DirectX. So how can I change the points size? They are really small, so when I zoom the point cloud they're not even visible :/

I am currently facing a similar problem. I wish I had a good suggestion or alternative.

Now I'm working on drawing a vertices cloud for a model imported from polygon, and I was puzzled about this issue as well. I've tried changing point size in .vert file, but no effect actually.
Anyway, shader files in Qt are seriously hard to compile successfully.
