How to earn points for reputation in QtForum?

Hi All,

I am inspired by so many contributors of this forum and want to thank them for all their help and support.
I just want to know how to earn points of reputation in this forum?

Without any reputation point, I have to wait for 10 minutes before posting the next Q, this irritates me. So, I am looking for a solution for it.

The 10 minute limit is to help protect the forum against spammers. Unfortunately, this means new users also get affected by time limits.

I recommend you use the 10 minutes to try out new things in your code.

@Swati777999 Good start would be to read answers to your questions more carefully and answer questions other are asking you to help them to help you...
This thread from you is a good example: https://forum.qt.io/topic/132504/setting-fixed-values-for-height-and-width-of-array-of-widgets I asked you same question 2 times, then two other people asked this question..., but we're still waiting for an answer.
Also, not sure why you posted this in this "Testing Area" forum.

Strangely, nobody likes my questions or has faced similar doubts as mine. That's what I can conclude from my reputation points.

Usually, people don't upvote questions here unless it is a very advanced or interesting question.

• Answerers most often get upvotes for answers that are helpful, insightful, and/or contains lots of relevant details.
• Askers most often get upvotes when they show good effort and initiative at trying out solutions.

Yes, and in addition to that, askers get upvotes when they provide an explanation of the solution to their issue, as well as marking the topic as solved when the problem is finished.
