Different behaviour of icons in vista style vs fusion style?

Hi, I am setting up different icons for the 'Normal On' and 'Normal Off' states of my checkable QPushButton through Qt Designer. When I view my UI in "windowsvista" style it works correctly and shows me the correct icons for 'checked' and 'non-checked' state, but in "Fusion" style the icon never changes. Has anyone else encountered similar problems? How can I make it work in "Fusion" style?
