      Hi and welcome to devnet,

There's quite a lot of screenshots there.

You might want to be more precise and tell exactly what you would like to build.

I can and will be very precise.

Thanks for your response. As per my post I am only looking to implement the 'base' window i.e. a window with a menu and a palette of icons that can be dragged and dropped onto a canvas with connecting lines between the (movable) widgets on the canvas. Basically a workflow without any logic behind the widgets, which part will be done by me, e.g. clicking on widget.

This a purely GUI/front-end project with no DB etc...

The Orange data analytics is a very good reference but I will provide written specs as part of the contract.

First step is to find an qualified expert Qt/C++ programmer.

          Hi
If you are willing to use Qt's graphics view framework.
You can get most of that using
          https://forum.qt.io/topic/104100/diagram-schematic-components-library

I think you should also state if one "icon" must handle multiple connections and
if you want "better "lines than a simple straight line from p1 to p2 with no soft bends etc.

Also is moveable the only Operation you want. no scaling?

          • I will provide written specs as part of the contract.
Ok. but why not show the details that the task must include here so people can
better judge if they want in.

@mrjj Thanks again for you valuable input. Next step will be to create a more precise spec.
