About the Role
XUPERCHAT (https://xuper.chat/) is an innovative new messaging app for iOS/Android that is under development and slated to launch in beta in Fall 2021. Our goal is to create a unique new messaging experience for creatives and content makers.
XUPERCHAT is searching for a passionate engineer with experience in Qt/QML and mobile app development for either iOS or Android. The ideal candidate will help to create intuitive user experiences backed by reliable, solid code.
This role is based in Los Angeles but we are open to remote candidates who demonstrate exceptional talent and teamwork skills. This new hire will be joining a small, stealth, entrepreneurial team with 10+ years experience in developing mobile applications.
Requirements
Experience in either iOS or Android development, or both.
2+ years experience in Qt/QML
Familiarity with open source codebases and building user interfaces from scratch
Ability to code for stability, efficiency and clarity
Strong attention to detail in order to deliver pixel-perfect UI according to designs
Strong communication skills needed for working with a distributed team
Will utilize Github for source control and Jira for task management and documentation
Bonus Skills:
Experience developing messenger or social media apps
Have worked in a distributed environment that relies on asynchronous communication
UI/UX design
