QwebView missing from Qt Creator
Hi, how do I add QwebView to QtCreator widgets?
Am only familiar with Python and Delphi.
I created a UI using Qt 5.14 but decided to import it into Qt Creator for mobile application's sake. After using uic to convert it to code, I have a traceback error message which talks about missing WebKit!
All the online suggestions aren't helping because they seem to be based on C## which am not familiar with.
Where can I find some detailed solutions based on windows and Python? -

Where can I find some detailed solutions based on windows and Python?@Andrew-K-Kabaghe You should rather use QtWebEngine (you need to install it separately using Qt Maintenance Tool). QWebView is not part of recent Qt5 versions anymore.

When installing Qt5.14.1, I ensured that QtWebEngine was selected/installed as you can see that the next button on my selection page is not enabled for clicking. I tried to deselect everything except QtWebEngine only to see that the maintenance tool is uninstalling all the deselected items before hence I cancelled it and decided not to unselect anything and ended up having an inactive push button :(
This is disheartening because am spending more time and energy on trying to make QWebView appear than on the actual application am working on!
Do I have to switch to another software instead of wasting so much time on a small thing like QWebView on QtCreator?

Are you using MinGW as a compiler ? If so, then that might be the issue as due to Chromium only Visual Studio is supported.
