AirMap (www.airmap.com) is searching for passionate C++/Qt/QML software developer to combine simple, intuitive user experiences coupled with responsive and fluid user interfaces backed by reliable, solid C++ code. This role will be responsible for adding new features and functionality to open source software and integrating that code with a streamlined and intuitive user interface that is an extension of the AirMap UTM platform.
Requirements:

4+ years of C++ w/ Qt background and some QML experience.

Familiarity with open source codebases and building user interfaces from scratch.

Ability to code for stability, efficiency and clarity

Will utilize Github for source control and Jira for task management and documentation
Bonus Skills:

Experience with mapping technologies (Mapbox preferred) and handling geospatial data.

Experience building applications on Linux (CentOS).
-
Experience in mobile development.

Experience with open source drone mission planning software.
-
Have worked in a distributed environment that values asynchronous communication.

I am Sujan a Qt developer from India. I got some good experience in Qt programming and geospatial data visualization software programming. Basically I am coding since 2008 with Qt 4.8.1 till date, I am familiar with all latest features of Qt, including QML and Qt3D. But I prefer as far as 3D is concerned it's more realistic to do with OpenGL. It is upto you how you like me to do it. I am profile is not very big. What I am writing here is sufficient for both. I am have been programming since 2004 till date, with mainly in c++, I am familiar with not only Qt but few more 3rd party libraries as Qwt perhaps you know about Qt's technical widgets, for plotting and charts to be made dynamically.
