Need help with screen name

I accidentally chose the wrong screen name. How can I change it to the correct one?
This is a new account so I don't mind deleting it and creating a new one, but I can't seem to figure out how.
I apologize if this is the wrong place for this request (if so please point me in the right direction).
Any help is greatly appreciated; I'm a bit OCD and simply can't have an incorrect screen name....Thank you in advance,
