I forgot to mentioned this ,I am Using TextInputUnit as component , here is the TextInputUnit.qml , i have added the Font.AllUppercase TextInput { id: textInput text: value focus: true anchors.top: parent.top anchors.left: parent.left anchors.bottom: parent.bottom anchors.leftMargin: 10 anchors.right: unitsRect.left verticalAlignment: Text.AlignVCenter color: '#EBF4FF' font.family: 'Lato' font.pixelSize: 16 font.capitalization: Font.AllUppercase selectByMouse: true // validator: validatorIn onEditingFinished: { root.textChanged() } readOnly: readonly } but still its not working . What will be the issue

@Yunus , Thank you for reply , yes it is a text handle feature in android, my question is, anchor (which is in blue color) not displaying exactly below the cursor in my App, but if i create and deploy a prototype project for TextInput in same mobile it is working fine , you can see below [image: 67622bd9-5e4f-491b-8efe-78028d1aede0.jpg]

Alright after some research I probably found a workaround to fix this. I got help and inspiration here. The problem is that sometimes when the elements are stored in containers such as ScrollView the z-order thing doesn't work well plus the container can catch mouse event not allowing it to propagate to the helper MouseArea. In such cases all the problematic elements need to contain TapHandler which allows to catch the click event and do custom action. So for example: ScrollView { TapHandler { onTapped: outFocuser.forceActiveFocus();} } In this way no z-order tricks are needed nor the onActiveFocusChanged property in TextArea.

@Qjay You can get text like this, Create instance of search.qml means like Search(this is your search.qml file instance, first latter should be capital of your qml file) { id: searchText } 2 In search.qml file create property like property alias Name_of_variable(like textOfSearchField): id_of_textfield(search_text.text) Now wherever you want to use, can do like this. searchText(id_of_instance).Name_of_variable You will find exact value as you passed in search.qml file

Hi, You need to send property like this: var loadwin = component.createObject(root, {someParameter: "Hello!"}) If you want to send property at any time (not only when your object will create) you need use alias property: property alias someParameter: textElement.text Text { id: textElement anchors.centerIn: parent text: "defaultParameter" } or signals. But I think alias property will be best way in your case. Hope this helps!

@monster You can create the TextInput using createComponent and then after creating its object you can assign it to a js variable. You can store them for eg. in an array for further reference. var component = Qt.createComponent("MyTextInput.qml"); var textinput = component.createObject(parent);
