@VRonin I want to do some heavy changes/customisations... stuff I cant do in CSS... Like moving expand button to opposite of tree, changing location of checkbox, changing indentation of child items. How can I control indentation of child items? I need it now :/ I keep getting "invisible" hitboxes as my child item is moved to left visually but hitboxes are drawn in original places :/// Ideas? I just realized there is "setIndentation"... sigh............ Ok that kinda works, how can I set indentation per row? :D

@Christian-Ehrlicher Hi Seems to call it from QPushButton::sizeHint() but I failed to find way to trigger it without altering text. I guess for full disclosure the source is needed and single step :9 I use wobog for it.

Sorry but I still don't see why you need to delete and re-create the proxy style. But do what you like.

I finally made it: in order to operate color, I have to overrule standard behavior set full set of styles using setStyleSheet handle events manage flow And I gave up to use it at the end: a lot of custom code with a doubtful outcome ugly design not clear flow Solution: I use the standard functionality of the standard button. Better explain to the user what "it works and feels the same as all other buttons in Windows"

@UnitScan alternatively you could "hack" a little bit. set the step size to 1 and max value to the widgets width. Update the max value on every resize (and also recalculate the value). You then create custom setter for your"real" max value and a new signal with the "real" value calculated linear to the base max value.
